Who we are

What we collect

When you request a table through this website we ask for:

• your name;
• your telephone number and email address, so we can confirm the booking;
• the date, time and number of guests;
• any special requests you choose to share;
• allergy or dietary information you choose to share, which may include health-related details.

We do not ask for payment details on this website, and we do not collect any information about you from third parties.

Why we use it

We use your details to review and confirm your reservation, to contact you if plans change, to prepare the kitchen for allergies or dietary needs, and to keep an accurate record of bookings taken. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you tick the privacy box on the booking form, together with our legitimate interest in running the restaurant. Allergy information is used only to keep you safe and is shared with our kitchen team.

Who can see it

Reservation records are visible only to Appayon staff who are signed in to our password-protected booking system. Our website and booking records are hosted by our technology providers on secure servers within the UK and the European Economic Area. We never sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Reservation records, including the created and updated times of each booking, are kept for up to 24 months so that we can resolve queries and understand how busy our services are. After that they are deleted. You can ask us to delete your record sooner.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us at contact@appayon.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
